TRE 4×4 locking differentials for front and rear axles. A locker makes both wheels on an axle turn at the same speed, so the vehicle keeps moving when one wheel loses traction. Air lockers are engaged with compressed air from a 12V compressor; electric lockers are operated from a switch in the cab and need no compressor.
