This snorkel relocates the Mitsubishi L200 (2006-2015), Pajero Sport (2008-2016) without windshield washer reservoir air intake to roof height. Up there the air is far cleaner than at bumper level, dust ingestion drops sharply, and the intake stays clear of spray during water crossings.

Why fit a snorkel

• Cleaner air: roof-level air carries a fraction of the dust found at bumper height, which extends air filter and engine life
• Water crossings: raises the intake well above the standard height, greatly reducing the risk of drawing water into the engine
• Cooler intake charge: air taken from outside the engine bay is cooler and denser than under-bonnet air
• Tough material: LLDPE flexes on impact instead of shattering, and is UV stabilised so it will not chalk or crack in sunlight

Installation

Fitting requires cutting and drilling the front wing, so professional installation is strongly recommended. Every joint, the wing aperture and the connection to the airbox must be sealed properly if the vehicle will be used in deep water.

Please note: a snorkel raises the air intake only. Before deep wading you also need to address axle and gearbox breathers, electrical connections and door and floor seals.
