The TRE 4×4 TR102 is an air-operated locking differential. Flick the switch and it locks both output shafts together, so both wheels on the axle turn at the same speed and full torque reaches the wheel that still has grip. Unlock it and the axle behaves exactly like the original open diff on the road.

What else you need

This locker is air actuated and requires the TRE 4×4 12V air compressor to operate. The same compressor can also be used to re-inflate tyres after airing down.

Installation

Fitting a locking differential means removing and re-shimming the differential, so it must be carried out by a specialist 4×4 workshop. Incorrect setup will damage the crown wheel and pinion. Supplied with a 12-month warranty.
