Blue synthetic winch rope 10 mm x 28 m with hook
10 mm UHMWPE winch rope with a forged hook, supplied in a 28 m length. Synthetic line is roughly six times lighter than steel cable of the same strength, so you can drag it out to an anchor by hand instead of fighting a heavy, springy coil.

Fitting and care
Synthetic rope must run through a hawse fairlead – roller fairleads have edges and pinch points that will cut it. Keep the rope away from hot exhaust components, wind it back onto the drum under light tension so the wraps bed evenly, and rinse mud and grit out after a wet recovery.
Safety
Always lay a recovery damper over the line during a pull, keep bystanders well outside the danger zone, and never step over a loaded line.
